Completed: The Greatest Weapon?

[Ryuumaru]

Ryuumaru Akagane, a legendary craftsmen who travels the seas as a captain of pirate craftsmen, and is a strong swordsman in his own right, just puts the final touchs on his latest and greatest weapon; the weapon Ryuumatou [Dragon-Magic-Sword].

Despite it's odd appearance, it somewhat resembles a sword, but it has a dull edge and only seems to serve as a club weapon. However, thanks to the aid of some Dials he got from Skypiea recently, this weapon is fully capable of cutting, and can do a lot more then just that. He chose the name because of it's abilities with fire and heat, as well as the way it 'magically' seems to do so. Of course, the way Dials are, it does seem a bit magical, even to him.

He finishes up the weapon by wrapping some cloth around the hilt of the weapon. He noticed that the piece of cloth was too big for the weapon, but the remaining piece seems too small to use for anything else, so he leaves it on there... he can fix it later.

And so, with his new weapon complete, he decides to give it a bit of a test run in East Blue; if it can't even be useful against these guys, then there's no way he can use it as a proper weapon.

Youiki exited from her house her own blade on her back along with a small bag that jingles slightly with the sound of metal not coins. She sighs looking around the town for a good ship to sail with as she wanted to go see if she could find a town that needed her as everyone she saw just turned her away. "What I wouldn't give.....For a good job...." She rarely got praise or pay.

[Ryuumaru]

Ryuumaru is working on his workshop on his ship when one of his crew members shout out that they spotted a town. Curious, he exits the room and steps outside. "Hmmm? Oh, I know this town... this is where I grew up." He grins a bit. "Land hoy! Set sail and land for supplies!"

Once they were in town, with his new weapon in hand, he looks around town for stuff and sees Youiki. "Ahoy! Hey, You-chan, where ya been? It's me, Ryuumaru! Surely you remember me!"

She blinks trying to remember. "Um......" She searches hard for him. "No.....sorry ...Remind me......" She says blinking as she feels he knows him, but from where? When? Would he allow her to join him? Perhaps find her own ship.

[Ryuumaru]

Ryuumaru sighs a bit. "Come on... you surely don't remember me, You-chan? I grew up here with you, remember? You used to call me 'Ryuu-chan', and all the kids used to mock me, calling me 'Rusty Ryuu' for working on those old machines all the time? Surely you remember that." He pats your head a bit. "I know I didn't exactly let you play with me much, but I was just a kid at the time... surely you understand." He then smiles and looks you over. "And look at you... you've developed into a lovely young lady. I know you were a late bloomer, but with that figure, I think it was worth the wait."

He then bows a bit. "Oh, sorry for being so chatty... I guess I'm just glad to see ya. I became a craftsmen, just like I always dreamed I would... and I'm a pirate captain to boot! What about you? How's life been on your end for the last decade? You got that dream job as a doctor?"

"No I'm sorry I don't remember some kid who barely talked to me or wrote me a dang gone letter once and a while...." She humphs and turns away from him angrily. "S for the doctor thing...somewhat, but not how I had planned it to happen.... No one wants me for some reason... I'm glad your life is so good...." She lowers her head moving a bit further away.

[Ryuumaru]

Ryuumaru puts his hand on your shoulder. "I'm sorry. Can you forgive me?" He then pounds his fist into his hand. "Oh yeah, almost forgot. Since you're a doctor, you think you could help me out? One of my crewman is sick." He takes out a small pouch. "How much for your services?"

"Well for you .....Free, but just this once....Just don't touch me.....Not without gloves as....I might affect you...." She sighs "Bring me your sick..... place him in front of me..." She says waiting flicking out her hands a bit.

[Ryuumaru]

"Wow, free? Thanks a lot. And don't worry about me, it takes a lot for something to bring me down." He then leaves for a bit.

Later, he and several of his henchmen return carrying several sick people, laying down on the ground. "Okay, here they are... now what?"

"Now you must step back and hold your breath..." She then flick her hands and they change color she takes a breath a blows some sort of powder all over the sick men. After doing this she steps back pulling out a stethoscope and waiting "Now we just wait for them to stand so I can give them a quick look over...I'll need to look the rest of you over as well as what theses guys had spreads very easily.....Tough ...I'm not 100% sure what they had....I can narrow it down, but that's about it...." She says tapping her chin thinking a bit.

[Ryuumaru]

The guys quickly stand up after being covered by the powder. "Hmmm?" Ryuumaru and the rest of his crew then gets checked up as well, but they all seem to be fine. Later, they get the rest of the crew, and they all seem okay too. Looks like they were looking.

After all the check-ups were done, Ryuumaru goes over to Youiki. "Wow, thanks a bunch, You-chan. You were amazing." He then hands her some money, roughly 5000 Beli (roughly equivalent to $50, based on how they use money). "Here, take this money, you deserve it. I know you wanted it to be free, but with the great work you did, I can't thank you enough. And if you ever need a good craftsman, lemme know, I'll happily make you anything you like."

"Good you can do that now..... I want a boat and my own crew.....I doubt I could get it, but ....who knows.....I could get the crew, but I still need a boat...." She sighs and begins to walk through the port looking at the boats for sale.

[Ryuumaru]

Ryuumaru grins a bit. "A boat is a simple task for the Crafty Pirates. Boys, let's get to work on that boat." The crew then runs off to get what they need; wood, nails, tools and such. And so they start building. They work fast, all being experts in their own right, and within 6 hours, finishing up right around sunset, they complete the boat. A large multi-sail ship with a wolf-head for the mast.

Ryuumaru then smiles at the boat as the crew takes the leftovers to his own ship. "There we go... and ain't she a beauty? Not exactly the best work we've done, but certainly the fastest. She'll comfortably carry a crew of 25 and a cargo full of gold, and still be able to outrun a Marine Ship. Just take good care of her and we'll call it even."

She stares at the ship her jaw agape "wah ...hubba say......wah! how'd? you? wah!?" She stammers out. She then turns to you eyes wide. "Wow and I thought I was special....Still I'm not very happy with how you treated me as a kid.... But regardless seems I have my powers and you yours......" She sighs a bit "All I need now is a crew....." She looks around a bit.

[Ryuumaru]

"Well, if you're gonna be a captain of a pirate crew, you need some fighting skills." He then grabs his weapon from his side, holds it out, and takes a fighting pose. "Come on, show me what you got."
